Pastor Broughton achieves this goal by employing the power of prayer, the Word of God and the Holy Spirit to inspire himself and others to overcome despite the many barriers and obstacles in our troubled world and become more faithful servants of God and more obedient disciples of Jesus Christ Reverend Broughton’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Allen University in Columbia, South Carolina; a Master of Divinity Degree from Payne Theological Seminary in Wilberforce, Ohio; and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. His future plans are to further his studies at the postdoctoral level and to continue the fight against social, economic, and political oppression of humankind.
Reverend Broughton is married to the former Wendy Geiger of Columbia, South Carolina. His motto is “You can be whatever you want to as long as you put God first.” His favorite scripture is Proverbs 3: 5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart’, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy path.”
